Volume

Volume is a measure of space in three dimensions. It is used to measure the capacity of containers. Volume is measured in cubic units.

You can work out the volume of a cuboid using the formula:

V = l × w × h

where l = length, w = width, h = height. The measurements must be in the same units.

What is the volume of this cuboid? Type your answer in the box.

A box, length 20 centimetres, width 5 centimetres, height 8 centimetres.
Volume = cm³
