Smoking grandmothers could damage children's health

It has long been established that a woman who smokes during pregnancy puts her child's health at risk. Recently, however, a study of nearly a thousand American children revealed that children may have greater chances of getting if  asthma their maternal grandmother smoked during pregnancy. If both the mother and grandmother smoked when pregnant, the risk was shown to be even higher. Further research is needed to confirm the findings.
