What has improved since the last inspection?
The garden has been landscaped and now offers a safer and more attractive outdoor area for the residents to enjoy.

The home now keeps a record of residents’ life histories. This is used to help staff understand them as individuals. Staff use their knowledge of important events in people’s lives to improve their quality of life, for example, by remembering an anniversary or talking about memories.

What could they do better?
Some parts of the interior of the building are starting to look rather shabby and could benefit from refurbishment. A programme of redecoration should prioritise communal areas on the first floor.
